Marian Härtel is an IT lawyer and management consultant specializing in the areas of online entertainment, web media and computer games. He advises media companies and start-ups worldwide on the development of games, entertainment platforms and e-sports content for social media channels. The focus is on business development, liability issues, legal and contractual texts as well as sponsorship and player contracts. In addition to his law firm, Härtel runs two of its own e-sports companies. Härtel has relevant experience in licensing, marketing online and mobile games. He knows the IT industry, the important Asian gaming market and the challenges in emerging countries. He completed his law degree at the Free University of Berlin.
