As a member of the International Advisory Board of Creative Hub, I want to share some of my international projects and free resources with creative businesses in Switzerland.
Anne Tu Quoc sews shoes and accessories for toddlers with her “Petit Mai” label. The Corona crisis brought business almost to a standstill. But when a door closes, another opens in another place: her brother, a doctor at a hospital, requested her to sew protective masks. And out of nowhere, it developed into a real business, with which she still supports the stock of the protective masks in Switzerland.

Read on is a long journey. The basic idea of the super-flat reading glasses with a sophisticated case was born in Seattle in 2017, and three years later we are planning to launch the product. Our core competencies are industrial design and engineering, especially eye glasses design, because with SOL SOL ITO we have a lot of experience in the development, production and marketing of glasses in the luxury segment.
Together with other associations of Switzerland’s creative industry, the Creative Hub is part of the "Creative Industries Interest Group". We are committed to finding quick and unbureaucratic solutions for self-employed people and SMEs from all branches of the creative industries.
In the midst of the technological revolution, new, sleek, shiny metal gadgets show the promise of a better life. A better life for us, the consumer. The question remains though, where does that leave the people who can’t afford these gadgets? Is the technological revolution inclusive? Or is it just making the lives of the more privileged, even more privileged? Can we move towards a new future with everyone together?
In cooperation with the Swiss Cultural Challenge, Creative Hub in Basel offered a five-part workshop seminar entitled "Working Model, Finance & Law". The sponsors of the Creative Business Coaching funding program from Creative Hub and the Swiss Cultural Challenge received exciting insights into various aspects of the creative economy and were able to work on their skills as creative entrepreneurs.

The Creative Business Cup is an international start-up competition with a focus on start-ups from the creative economy. Once a year, startups from over 60 partner countries compete against each other in the final round of the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen. International networking, exchange and mediation of investors are the goals of the Creative Business Cup.
According to Wikipedia, "Le roi est mort, vive le roi" is the heraldic proclamation used to announce the death of the old king (of France) as well as the accession of the new one. The modification of this traditional proclamation to the blog post title fits like a glove.
