On 12 and 13 March 2020, the SRG is holding its sixth Hackdays, whose theme this year is ‘Journalism of the Future’. The Hackdays will run concurrently in Geneva, Lugano und Zurich – there is a limited number of places. Sign up to join us now!

Let’s shape journalism of the future together. Over around 30 hours, we will work on innovative ways in which media might come to be used. Whether it’s #data science, #audio, #A.I., #storytelling, #blockchain, #robotics, #virtual reality, #connectivity, #mobility or #e‑sports: Anything goes!

The Hackdays are aimed not only at SRG employees, but also at other professionals who are keen to develop new digital applications in an imaginative way: from developers and programmers to journalists, designers and creatives. People from the Creative Hub Network will be most welcome, whether you are a software engineer or game designer, an architect, photographer or filmmaker, a commercial, industrial, fashion or media designer, a craftsman or -woman, or an artist, performer, musician or writer. A mix of different people has the potential to generate the most exciting approaches.

Interested? Bring along your idea or just your skills. You can take part as a team or join a group whose idea attracts you on the day. The results will be presented at the end – the final pitches will be livestreamed to the other locations. The three ideas that gain the most votes will be the winners.
