Shanghai is one of the largest cities in China and an important trading center. The Yangtze River Delta International Cultural Industries Expo (YRDICIE) dedicates around 54,000 square meters to the creative economy each year. The Creative Hub enables selected start-ups to digitally participate in the Expo in 2020.

YRDICIE invites leading global companies from the fields of innovation, culture, creativity and science to present their work and products in order to promote local production. Over the past few years, the Expo has attracted more than 800 cultural and art institutions, including museums, libraries, publishing groups, art galleries, design companies, companies from the show business and eSports, and companies from the Yangtze River Delta. They come from all over China and world over. YRDICIE 2019 attracted around 128,000 visitors over the three days of the fair.

Creative Hub was also at YRDICIE in 2019 to examine possible collaborations. Swiss participation on site has now been made impossible by the Corona pandemic. Nevertheless, Creative Hub has found opportunities with the organizers to digitally show Swiss creative work in Shanghai. Match-making sessions, a live release and much more are on the program.
